Here’s an Overview of the Steps that go along with the video!
- Begin by painting the birdhouse in plaster color, then prarie sage color
- Before Prarie sage color can dry all the way, use a baby wipe to rub and distress along the edges
- Use a bit of brown ink to add additional distressing on birdhouse
- Now take a piece of cardboard to create custom art ….I crumpled mine to give it an aged look
- Use the same brown ink with bird stamp on cardboard, then glue over the heart
- Use hot glue to glue in nest, eggs, spanish moss, & florals
- Cut up pieces of pine cone to hot glue on roof of birdhouse
- Next, use a bit of antiquing wax to “stain” the wooden cap feet
- Attach the feet to bottom with a bit of hot glue
- Lastly, add a bit more floral & moss for added interest and texture!
