Creative Spins Showcase – Spring Edition
Can’t wait for you to enjoy another round-up we lovingly refer to as a Creative Spins Showcase – and this one is the Spring Edition!
Flowers are blooming, birds are chirping, and Easter is just around the corner, which means it’s the perfect time for a little crafty goodness! Y’all have been busy with your glue guns, paintbrushes, and all things spring, and I couldn’t be more excited to showcase your amazing creations.
So grab yourself a sweet tea (or a handful of chocolate eggs…I won’t judge), and let’s take a stroll through some delightful, spring-inspired DIYs straight from wonderful Hammons Nest community!
All, let’s get started y’all!
DIY Wood Shim Easter Cross
The DIY Wood Shim Easter Cross tutorial has been a popular one! Check out this fabulous cross made by Kathy Farmer.

Farmhouse Bunny Pillow made with Dollar Tree Dish Towel
Margaret Rice made a sweet version of the Farmhouse Bunny Pillow – loving the burlap and blue! You can make one of these with a Dollar Tree dish towel – isn’t that so fun!

Farmhouse Makeover on Dollar General Sheep Decor
This Dollar General Sheep Planter post was a hit last year, and I have been hearing that Dollar General may be starting to restock them this year…..fingers crossed that you could grab one or three haha.
Tammy Stecker did a beautiful and unique one, which was inspired by her daughter’s business “Black Sheep Meal Prep”. So perfect!

Cottage Birdhouse Dollar Tree Crafts
Look at the adorable birdhouse that Theresa Hawkins made using the Cottage Birdhouse Dollar Tree Craft tutorial! Love her choice of greenery and florals.

And Suzanne Libby made a couple of sweet birdhouses too! The little nests look ready for baby birds to snuggle in!

Jennifer Stitt made a version of the Cottage Birdhouse too, and used a napkin and decoupage instead of the stamp. I love the little drawer pull she put on the front too – just the right touch to finish this adorable birdhouse!

Printing on Fabric
Mary Charo used the info in the Printing on Fabric post, and used the sweet bunnies printable from the Easter Blessings Bundle to make accent beautiful basket all hanging.

Rusty Windmill Makeover
Kaitlyn Devries created her own version of the Dollar Tree Windmill Makeover, and she totally nailed it! That crackle finish on the base is Amazing!

Dollar Tree Hanging Basket Makeover
A BIG thank you to Karen Walsh for the sweet text message she sent to me about making these Hanging Baskets from Dollar Tree with her granddaughter. This is the reason I do what I do! Karen, your baskets turned out AMAZING!

Fabric Carrots on Vintage Beadboard
Oh, this Fabric Carrots on Vintage Beadboard project has been another popular one! Look at the amazing Bunny Bait sign made by Kaylene Ashbridge.

And because this one has been SO popular, I made another showcase gallery with the carrot project pieces – scroll through the photos here below, or click on over to the Fabric Carrots post, check out the how-to, and see some inspiration before tackling this project yourself!
Don’t these projects put you in the mood for spring!? A big THANK YOU to everyone who shared their creations!
If you’re feeling inspired, we’d love to see your take on these projects! Keep tagging Hammons Nest on Facebook, and sending your crafty goodness my way — it might just end up in our next round-up!
