This craft could not get any simpler! I have had rolls of metal ribbon in my craft stash for quite some time! FINALLY thought to use it for a pumpkin! Below you’ll find recommended supplies & a quick how-to video showing you how to make one of your very own! Be sure to watch to the end because I include a BONUS variation on this design!! yay!!

Here are the supplies you need to give it a try:

  • Metal Ribbon (Hobby Lobby ribbon aisle….the style I used was 1.5in wide & I used three 20in strips)
  • Scissors
  • Metal snips
  • Decorative Knob (Hobby Lobby)
  • Greenery (Hobby Lobby item# 410027)
  • Chalk Paint if you want a rustic or painted look (I used Dixie Belle Chalk Paint for this project, but any brand would do)

Sidenote: In the video, I mention not having exactly what I needed on hand to secure the bottom. Preferably, I would use a little bolt, nut & washer. But happy to report that the decorative knob on top holds verything in place enough that I didn’t feel it needed to be! You could certainly try to secure with wire if you’d like!

Another variation on this project is to use a crystal knob & leave metal unpainted! Has a more glam fall look!! Whichever style you choose, this project is just beautiful!! I’ve gotten feedback that these remind them of Cinderella lol. Let me know what you think!
