Soooooo, Dollar Tree got me again lol. I was in the Plus Section of a Dollar Tree near me & saw these ADORABLE fabric pumpkins! I grabbed these 3 because I thought they were pretty grouped together. Sure they look really cute as is, BUT my vision for what they could be always gets me EXCITED!!!

I’ll share a list of what Supplies I used, Steps for the makeover & a short video Tutorial to help guide and inspire YOU!! Let me know what you think & if this idea gets your imagination moving!

Even if you can find these EXACT pumpkins, think about sprucing up one you already have on hand, making one or finding one kind of similar at a different store!!

This post may contain referral links to products used. This means I may earn a small commission if you make a purchase at no additional cost to you. I only refer products I use & love!

SUPPLIES I used: (I had everything on hand except the pumpkins. I’m including referral sources highlighted in orange for some of the products I used. Hope that helps ya!)

  • Fabric Stuffed Pumpkins ($3 each from Dollar Tree Plus section)
  • Vintage Spindles for stems (repurposed from old crib)
  • Spanish Moss (Dollar Tree)
  • Jute Rope (Walmart)
  • Fall Floral Pick (Hobby Lobby)
  • Fine Mister Bottle (I use my my water mister all the time)
  • Corn Husks (the ones I linked are from Amazon, but also look in grocery stores for smaller bags)
  • Scissors
  • Hot Glue Gun (Walmart)
  • Pink Silicone Finger Protectors (Dollar Tree) if you can’t find them, CLICK HERE to see some similar on Amazon

I hope you enjoyed the VIDEO TUTORIAL, but here are the STEPS listed out if that might help even more!

  • Remove original stem
  • I had to snip the thread under the stem. This made the hold a smidge bigger so I could fit in my new stem
  • I used a little hot glue on bottom of spindle piece & placed where the other stem was
  • I then drizzled a little hot glue around spindle & placed a small amount of moss
  • Next, I glued bigger jute down each section of pumpkin (you could do this before or after moss)
  • I ripped 2-3 corn husks per pumpkin to create little bundles.
  • I then tied off the bundle so that I could have an opening to slip over spindle stem.
  • Next I glued pieces of my floral pick
  • Lastly, I finished off the look by gluing a bit more moss around the spindle

I am SO PLEASED with how these turned out & now they’re even MORE my style! I love that just a few added embellishments really leveled up the look! If you want to see another cute Dollar Tree Pumpkin Makeover, check out THIS ONE!!
