Here are the Steps to go along with Video above:
- Paint Heart with Truffle Brown Paint, let dry
- Paint Heart with Plaster Paint, let dry
- Use Electric Sander to distress, 120 grit sand paper
- Cut Black Ticking Fabric, 16x10in approx.
- Wrap ticking fabric around bottom half of heart, securing on the back with light duty 1/4in staples
- Cut off excess fabric
- Glue & Staple Ribbon Trim on top of ticking fabric section
- Optional…I didn’t do this in the video, but for a nice, finished look, cover the back with fabric and glue in place to cover up all the staples and extra fabric
- Use Thicker Jute and run through the holes of heart…double knotting to secure
- Use Fringed Jute Wired Ribbon to create a simple loop bow…wrapping 4 times to create 8 loops….bow is about 6in wide lying flat.
- Secure bow in center with thin jute
- Pull apart all the loops to fluff
- Print Valentine’s Printable Sheet onto Cardstock
- Rip around Love you Always tag & crumple up
- Use Distressing Ink and foam dobber to add character to edges of tag & heart
- Tie Tag onto the Bow
- Use Hot Glue to attach Bow on top left area of pocket
- Hot Glue Button in center of Bow
- If you want to secure the tag in a certain place, you can use a Glue Dot like I did
- Lastly, fill the beautiful pocket with Snowball & Green Berry Florals
