  • Waverly “Truffle” Chalk Paint (Walmart)
  • Electric Sander (Amazon)
  • Thick Jute Rope for hanging
  • Light Duty Stapler with 1/4in staples (Amazon)
  • Black Ticking Stripe Duck Cloth (Hobby Lobby Sku# 2081370)
  • Canvas Ribbon Trim (Hobby Lobby Sku#2112506)

  • Natural Brown Button from Jar (Walmart)
  • Tim Holtz Distress Ink “Walnut Stain” (Hobby Lobby)

  • Green Berry Bush (Hobby Lobby Sku#997908)
  • Cream Snowball Floral (Hobby Lobby Sku#800706)
  • Floral Stem Cutters
  • Glue Dots

Here are the Steps to go along with Video above:

  1. Paint Heart with Truffle Brown Paint, let dry
  2. Paint Heart with Plaster Paint, let dry
  3. Use Electric Sander to distress, 120 grit sand paper
  4. Cut Black Ticking Fabric, 16x10in approx.
  5. Wrap ticking fabric around bottom half of heart, securing on the back with light duty 1/4in staples
  6. Cut off excess fabric
  7. Glue & Staple Ribbon Trim on top of ticking fabric section
  8. Optional…I didn’t do this in the video, but for a nice, finished look, cover the back with fabric and glue in place to cover up all the staples and extra fabric
  9. Use Thicker Jute and run through the holes of heart…double knotting to secure
  10. Use Fringed Jute Wired Ribbon to create a simple loop bow…wrapping 4 times to create 8 loops….bow is about 6in wide lying flat.
  11. Secure bow in center with thin jute
  12. Pull apart all the loops to fluff
  13. Print Valentine’s Printable Sheet onto Cardstock
  14. Rip around Love you Always tag & crumple up
  15. Use Distressing Ink and foam dobber to add character to edges of tag & heart
  16. Tie Tag onto the Bow
  17. Use Hot Glue to attach Bow on top left area of pocket
  18. Hot Glue Button in center of Bow
  19. If you want to secure the tag in a certain place, you can use a Glue Dot like I did
  20. Lastly, fill the beautiful pocket with Snowball & Green Berry Florals
