Interchangeable Canvas Pouch on Wood
Crafting is fun, no matter the season, but there is something EXTRA SPECIAL about making a decor piece that can be used for literally ANY season! I absolutely LOVE rustic style with textures like ripped fabric, chippy paint & florals and this wooden block has it all!
I hope you’re inspired to make one of your own! Below you’ll find a list of supplies I used plus a short video tutorial showing it all come together!

SUPPLY LIST:
- Wood Block (2×6 board, cut 8in long)
- Antiquing Wax (Dixie Belle “Brown”)
- Old White Tshirt or lint-free rag
- White Chalk Paint (Dixie Belle color “Fluff”)
- Paint Brush
- Electric Sander or Sanding Block
- Canvas Fabric (I used a painter’s drop cloth)
- Hot Glue Gun (for regular hot glue)
- Hot Glue Gun (for fabric glue)
- Fabric Glue Sticks (Surebonder)
- Decorative Upholstery Tacks (Hobby Lobby)
- Hammer
- Scissors
- Pinking Shears
- Rubber Alphabet Stamps ( linked for similar one on Amazon, but I purchased from Hobby Lobby)
- Black Ink Pad
- Florals/Picks of your choice (I styled 7 different ways for ideas)
- Fabric (for edge & patch on front of pouch, picked up from Hobby Lobby)
