First, Download your Free Cardinal Printable Design & resize from 8x8in to 4x4in
Scroll to Bottom & choose to Download the PDF or PNG image file for personal & small business use.
My favorite way to resize my images for crafting is to dowload the PNG/JPEG image file & pull into Microsoft Word. The way you resize is completely up to you.
For this project, I printed the 4x4in cardinal image onto White Cardstock
If you want to make several at a time, you could place 4 images onto an 8.5×11 cardstock sheet.
Ripping the edges gives the project a very rustic look.
Cardstock rips pretty easily to give the edges of the paper a tattered look. I left about 1/4in white border around the cardinal image.
Use a touch of Hot Glue in the center & corner of the cardstock to attach to basket
There are other options for attaching the cardstock to the basket, but the hot glue holds quite nicely.
If you want to make an ornament, attach Jute String for hanging
This creation would make a wonderul tray or leaning decor too. If using as an ornament, consider using as a gift topper.
Lastly, embellish with a touch of greenery & ribbon
Using hot glue, I attached a bit of greenery & a small double ribbon bow to the left corner..and adorned the center of the bow with a mini pinecone.
Christmas ornaments are my favorite DIYs during the holidays! I hope this project inspires you!
Enjoy using your FREE PRINTABLE in so many ways!

What is the difference between and pdf and a png??
Hi Debbie, they are just 2 different file types. PNG is similar to JPEG, simply an image file. People have preferences, so I offer both.
