Snowman Ornament Christmas Craft using a mini cutting board

I absolutely LOVE how this little snowman turns out! My favorite part is that he’s made from something kind of unexpected….a mini serving board I found at Hobby Lobby for $2!!……..So he’s budget friendly too!! I had all the other supplies on hand & he really makes me SMILE!

Here is a list of SUPPLIES I used to create this snowman:

  • Mini Cutting/Charcuterie Board (Hobby Lobby…dimensions Length: 7 1/2″ Width: 3 9/16″ Height: 1/2″)
  • Paints (Folk Art Brand, colors “Cinnamon”, “Burnt Umber”, “Licorice”, & “White Adirondack”)
  • Mister Bottle with water
  • Wood Snowflake (Hobby Lobby)
  • Faux Greenery/Berries (Hobby Lobby)
  • Wood Button (Walmart)
  • Ripped Fabric (Hobby Lobby)
  • Piece of Wood Shim cut to desired hat brim length
  • Braided Jute (Hobby Lobby)
  • Sanding Block
  • Paint Brushes
  • Stain Rag
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Scissors
  • Pencil

I hope you’re inspired by the idea! Appreciate you visiting the blog & hope you’ll find more creative inspiration here. I also made these ornaments that coordinate with this Snowman one……. Embroidery Hoop Ornaments, Mini Wood Present Ornaments

P.S. I think a scarecrow would be SUPER CUTE this way too! — Summer Hammons :)
