Shim Sign for Valentine’s Day
Taking something unexpected & seeing it transform into such cuteness is my favorite part of crafting! On top of that, it’s budget-friendly & that adds another layer of excitement! Y’all…..this cute Valentine’s Day sign cost me maybe $2-$3!! Sometimes when I’m planning something out, I don’t even realize how affordable it turns out being. I mean I’m just trying to make it cute haha!
The main portion of this sign is made from wood SHIMS! Shims y’all!!!….like the ones contractors use to build & remodel homes. They are great for leveling up all sorts of stuff while building, like windows, doors, cabinetry etc. & they are SUPER CHEAP! I picked some up at Home Depot & my mind went to working!
Now as far as crafting, I’ve seen some pretty nifty things made from these, so I now have all different sizes of them in my craft stash! Can’t wait to come up with more cool designs! The one I’m showing you today is actually pretty simple!
Now these aren’t the nicest wood or anything, but they do the trick on these kinds of projects! Keep scrolling & you’ll find the entire list of supplies you’ll need to make one of these cute XOXO signs for yourself!
This post may contain referral links to products used. This means I may earn a small commission if you make a purchase at no additional cost to you. I only refer products I use & love!
